I am sick as a dog, my fridge is empty after the trip, and it’s raining every minute of the day. If I dont get to a store tomorrow, I feel like I’m going to starve, or at least get scurvy from the lack of fresh fruit.
GDC was exciting, but it has physically left me a wreck. On top of the pre-existing emotional wreckage that I need to take care of. When I’m done coughing my lungs out, that is.
Balls, I should have given you a ring during GDC! What were your favorite sessions?

I liked the Sparse Virtual texture talk a lot, and Raph’s talk about metaverse. Those are the two that’ll stick in memory. Otherwise I wasn’t too impressed with this year’s offerings, but I had a lot of other things on my mind. When I’m well again I need to sit down and recap each one of those lectures for myself.
Hm, I walked out on Raph’s talk… I’ve heard from others that it got better, but I couldn’t handle it anymore. 😀
I loved Chris Hecker’s Structure vs. Style and the virtual goods roundtable. Most everything else was related directly or indirectly to IMVU…
Maybe we’ll get to hang out next year. 🙂
